The Cotswold Model Yacht Club is a small section of the Cotswold Sailing Club, both of which are located at Spinnaker Lake in the Cotswold Water Park, Nr Cirencester, Glos.
The 57 acre lake and surrounding land is owned by the Cotswold Sailing Club and during 1995 won an environmental award for the restoration of the lake area from a disused gravel pit.
The modern Cotswold stone Clubhouse is situated at the northern end of the lake from which there are good views over the water. The building has all facilities including modern toilets and showers, galley and lounge area. During the warmer months of the year BBQ's are organised on the large patio in front of the Clubhouse. Camping facilities are also available by arrangement with the Cotswold Sailing Club Camping Secretary.
The Cotswold Model Yacht Club Sailing area is situated directly in front of the main entrance, where the club caravan is parked.
